The Hololive Official Card Game Is Getting An English Edition

One thing that hololive has always excelled at is growing and expanding as a brand. More of that is soon to come as the hololive OFFICIAL CARD GAME is now confirmed to be getting an English edition. Worldwide interest was just so substantial that this was almost an inevitability. The English edition of the hololive OFFICIAL CARD GAME is on track for release later in 2025. A more specific date will be provided in the future.
Hololive's Plans For The English Edition's Release
hololive doesn't intend to make any drastic changes to the hololive OFFICIAL CARD GAME in the translation process. The card designs and game rules will remain untouched. The only major difference will, of course, be in the language.
The release of the English edition of the card game will also come with further support from hololive. Official events and promotions will be hosted by the company, presumably favoring English-speaking countries. It remains to be seen how hololive will tackle the release of certain promo cards that have already been distributed in Japan, but those cards will still very likely make it over to the English edition.
In terms of distribution, the hololive OFFICIAL CARD GAME will predominantly be sold in North America. The card game will be purchasable in certain physical retail spaces, as well as online marketplaces. hololive's very own official shop will also have them in stock, which should help keep prices controlled.
The hololive OFFICIAL CARD GAME has been doing very well in Japan, even attracting a competitive scene in the country. Card games aren't treated nearly as seriously in other regions, though, so it'll be interesting to see just how well hololive can do with a more globalized sales strategy.
